Application protocol

STEP 01

Wash first

Clay only a clean vehicle, decon follows the wash stage, never replaces it.

STEP 02

Mist a wet film

Keep a visibly wet film on the half-panel; dry contact is what mars.

STEP 03

Glide the media

Straight lines, no pressure, until drag disappears completely.

STEP 04

Wipe and verify

Buff residue and bag-test the panel before moving to correction.

Field questions

Suds collapse under shear and let the media grab. A dedicated lubricant holds a consistent film, which is the difference between decon and marring you then have to polish out.

After the wash, before correction or coating. Every coating install should sit on a clayed, bag-test-smooth panel.

No oils, no fillers, a single IPA-free wipe leaves the surface coating-ready.

Spray generously onto a small section, glide the kneaded clay in straight overlapping motions, then wipe the residue with a clean microfibre. Repeat panel by panel.
